Has anyone fitted the BanditMania stainless oval twin out exhaust can? What is the quality and fitting like? Most of all what is the sound and performance like? They seem a good price $165 plus delivery.

Sorry Watto i think thats a NO . I think you might be better off looking else where than that $165 one .Banditmania dont make them so they
bought them for at best $100 .By the time you pay freight you Will have a cheap and nasty pipe that wasnt so cheap.
I'm allways surprised we dont buy them off the wreakers .I see stacks of bikes with front end damage only ,you could get lucky ?

Put in Exhausts (or similar) in the Search box .Its all in there somewhere .

P.S. i could be wrong about $165 exhaust .No, unlikley . Very Happy

Thanks for that. I will keep looking, most likely will spend the extra money and buy Australian (Staintune). Appreciate the comments.

My advice is to buy whatever you think looks the best and is reasonable quality.
I have always thought the Staintune to be to long and skinny.
The cat in the system is the main restrictor.

Has anyone actually punched out the cat? Did it make much of a diffence in performance and sound?

Reardo did it, not a lot of fun by his account and I don't think there was much, if anything, in performance improvement.
I suspect that this will be true while the secondaries are in as I don't think there is much to be gained on the exhaust side until the intake is opened right up, i.e. air box plus secondaries plus your chosen fuel controller.

I've been looking for the thread, the search on this platform leaves a lot to be desired, but here it is:

To me the standard engine was good but, felt slow to build RPM.
With the airbox and catless mods The RPM builds a lot guicker Very Happy
It was a pain in the arse to get out. but makes engine feel free.
& gives a deeper exhaust growl.
