Air Filter Grommet and Secondary Butterflies removed, finally!
Finally, after much research on various forums I took the plunge to remove the air filter grommet and secondary butterflies. I did this in two stages, I removed the air filter grommet last week and enjoyed a difference in the way the engine appeared to breath.
Today I removed the secondary butterflies and what an improvement I felt. Even when ticking over, when you rev the engine it appears to immediately rev without any hesitance or minor delay.
At low revs the roundabouts are more comfortable to maneuver but after 6000rpm the engine doest seem to be running out of power and revs with more enthusiasm.
I will try after longer rides as its raining here in NZ tomorrow so it probably wont be till next weekend.
I also have a GI Pro with ATRE on which may be helping as its programmed to make the bandit think its in fifth gear through the range.
At the moment I'm happy with these engine mods.

Hi Gus, yes I should have added my post with yours.
Have you drilled your airbox as well. I'm considering that as well maybe following the recommendations from Holeshot.
