Re: 19 tooth front sprocket .......
mathematical top speed at 9500 rpm (pretty much full noise)
18t = 286.7kph
19t = 302.6kph
100kph revs
18t = 3314rpm
19t = 3139rpm
Will it physically fit. not sure but for about $25 for the sprocket why not give it a go

See HERE for gearing.
My question is why would you want to? Spend a few 1000 km on a 1250 and once run in you will see they are a much better engine from 4,000rpm.
I reckon dispite the small difference you'll be lugging in 6th and economy will be no better.

Hi dude, long time no speak. I am planning on doing a Sydney trip again this Xmas and when i went over last time, i found the bike really wanted to sit around 180-200 kmh. I also have my eye on a 19 litre auxilary tank from the states as I hate stopping for fuel.

Hi mate, my engine has 40,000kms on it now so it is definately run in. It also makes far more power than a stock engine so it will have no trouble pulling the taller gearing.

Looks like you can get them and they do fit with a bit of modification according to this maxzuk thread
And just in case you aren't able to see the link, here is the text

Geurn wrote:For anyone that may be interested, the 19 tooth front sprocket works great with one very easy modification to the sprocket cover. Because sport touring and long trips are my norm I wanted to see if I could make my 1250 a little more relaxed at 70-80. Even with six gears I am always trying for another gear so I thought I'd try this. It really doesn't seem to rob any power, it's just more comfortable (to me anyway) The sprocket came from Sprocket Specialist's and it is part number 51419. All you need to do is file a small amount off one of the legs that hold the sprocket cover (this is the cover the clutch slave bolts to) and it is obvious which one and your done. It also keeps the chain off the swingarm a little more because of it's larger size. Just thought I'd throw this out there.
