Got my recall notice yesterday.
The note says to confirm the VIN.
Wouldnt they already have that on file and know which build range was affected?
If mine is included I'll ask the dealer fit one of those recently popular whistles too.

Nah, I deal with VIN's every day, I guess it's one area I've been brain washed, we have all said VIN number at various times but get corrected very quickly, years ago it seemed normal, now it just sounds so wrong

Hey guess what? I just got my final notification in the mail today. I've never received any notice before this one! Someone in Suzuki is a bit slow at getting these out. Mine was bought new over 3 years ago! I'd completely forgotten about this issue so I'd better go get mine replaced.

Yup, I just got a final notice for my bandit. I rang local dealer and it will be done in new year.
