Did the first (1000k) at Springwood Suzuki. All good and it's smoothed out the power delivery bellow 3500rpm, not that I thought it felt too bad before, it's just a s#*t load better now.

I also took advantage of the complimentary suspension tune they've got going. Very Happy cheers Very Happy cheers WOW Very Happy cheers Very Happy cheers . I hadn't thought the stock settings were that bad, but just having the preload set up properly for my weight has made it so much nicer. Smoother turn in. Better on brakes. I know there are more improvements to be made to the big beasts springs, but this will do for a while while till I've got more funds..

I had the same feeling and it kept getting better until about 16,000km. What oil did they put in? I stayed with mineral until 6000km.

They used Shell Advance SX4 10W-40 (Mineral). The recomendation was to stay with mineral untill at least 6000k to avoid glazing. The Jury is out on the Shell, i've used nothing but Motul for the past few years, but that was servicing much simpler bikes at home. Will run with thier recomendations for now.

Same oil as me. Have Motul in it now and feels as good as ever. Wanted Mobil 1 but its not stocked around here.

I can vouch for Belray Semi synthetic too. The full synthetic fuchs stuff I am running at the moment is not quite as smooth for gear changes.
