Thinking of tinkering with the 1250.
Hi chaps I have a 2011 Gsx1250fa which apart from an Sp engineering slip on exhaust and a K&N air filter is mechanically standard. I've been thinking of maybe doing a few mods but was wondering if more informed members could give their opinions as to whether I would see any benifit from blocking off the pair system, removing the secondary butterflies opening up the air box and O2 bypass ? I might later fit Dale walker's pro tune. But would I see any improvement in the meantime or am i just looking for trouble?
many thanks
Neil.

Do all of that! I swapped bikes with a mate recently and he couldn't believe the difference in power, go the full exhaust in the future too, the thing just breathes.........

Secondary butterflies and a set of headers. The stock ones are double walled pea shooters.
Definitely breath way better.
Sort the suspension at your local suspension expert.

Re: Thinking of tinkering with the 1250.
You need to determine where you want to be and then advice on the path may be provided. The B1250 is a very versatile platform but for some destinations it is not the best starting point.
BTW if you proceed as described your fueling will probably become excessively lean (probably getting marginal already) and drivability and possibly output will suffer.
IMO (which I believe is shared by many other long-termers), you should look first to your chassis.
