Another one from Darwin...
G'day all,
Am a bit new to these bikes but have just (today) put a deposit on a new GSX1250FA and looking forward to delivery. I've been living in a world of adventure riding with my little Beemer F650GS (800 twin) as my every day transport and weekend scratcher (having notched up 50,000km in last 2 1/2 years) but looking forward to a liddle bit more torque leading to easier cruising.
Will be keeping Bluey 1, but looking forward to some longer distance 2 up touring on Bluey 2 (1250FA).
Having a quick look through the member list I recognise at least one other Darwin yobo (I'm looking in your direction Pauld!!).
Am hoping to be able to contribute something worthwhile to the forum.
Anyone traveling North let us know!
Cheers,
Bill. (and Margi - the willing (and trusting) pillion).

Welcome... Hope you like hard seats if you intend on touring on the stock seat.
I recommend an Airhawk seat cushion if you can't stand the pain
