G'day all,

I ordered my brand-spankers new Bandit 1250SA on Tuesday and I'm told it should be here late next week, or early the week after. I'm just moving up from a '09 KLR650, so I think I'm gonna' have to watch that speedo with an eagle-eye! Very Happy

I rode a mate's Bandit last year and was blown away by the incredible torque... just like twisting the rheostat for a big electric motor - so smooth and quiet!

Anyway, enough superlatives.... I look forward to learning lots from the knowledgable members here!

Take care,

Dave.A

Hi Dave I'm from Darwin too, iv only got a baby bandit, gsx650f.

Where abouts are you and will definitely have to tee up a ride somewhere, a run to litchfield would be a good run when your running it in
Cheers Paul

G'day Paul,

I'm in Fannie Bay. I've got a trip planned to Alice Springs at the end of August for the Black Dog Ride, so I'm going to have to get her run-in and have the first service pretty darned quickly. My mate also wants to do a "shake down" run to Katherine before we go, so it's gonna' be a busy, busy month and a bit! I want to get a few hundred k's on her around town before I do any "country stuff", but yeah, a trip down to Litchfield might be the go.

Drop me a PM sometime and we'll work something out.

Cheers!

Yeah definitely some first through third time is definitely a good idea, sid from my motorcycles pointed out how important they are, did a whole day one weekend with my bike that I got at 10ks and it freed up my box a heap, and even if you want some company with the shake down ride il be keen for that, I went over to Vic river this weekend, 1000k round trip on a whim
