Howdy from Townsville
Hi All,
I just recently picked up my new 2010 1250 naked which is a seriously sweet ride. I've come from dirt bikes so I was after a nice seating position and some power, which the Bandit has plenty of. I was going for a ride yesterday and I must not have put the stand down properly or the slope on the driveway was too much, but as I turned around to grab my helmet my bike fell over. Man, was I PISSED. I snapped my clutch lever and sctatched the clutch cover and handle bar. It's not too bad, but that's not the point.
Anyway, does anyone know of any good online stores/sites that sell Bandit parts? I'm happy to buy from the States or wherever, if the price is right.
Also, does anyone have a 2010 naked with a wind shield?
Cheers
Todd

Welcome to the site. Ebay is worth a look for levers, I posted a review (sort of) on the chinese pazzo knockoffs. It's not buried too far back.
Oh and it's obvious you're an very good bloke with exceptional character, the reason I know this will become obvious shortly.
Regards

Yep, i have a small screen which i put on in winter. It attaches in the 4 holes that hold the cover over the headlight .
takes about 3 mins to fit. Buffets a little bit and looks ordinary ,but was handy in Tassie. Also had a smaller one from Just Bandits but i melted it with
paint stripper. Pictures are on this site,i'll see if i can find it. They do come in tints which i should have got $100.I'll post a pic of
the larger one i use tomorrow. Townsville--sure you want a screen ,you did buy a naked ? Oh welcome
Just realised ,you have a 2010 bandit so what i have isnt going to fit. Still try Just Bandits in the UK.
My brother brought his first road bike (had a scooter )i told him to get a naked because his bound to drop it.Needless to say bought a
500 Suzuki with a fairing.Proved me wrong though he didnt drop it,he backed into it with his Land Cruiser the first night he got it.

Yeah, bad luck dropping your brand new bike but a bit of TLC will make it good again. Hope you were OK in all the flooding and cyclones about the place up where you are.

Welcome.
I caught mine before it hit the deck. Took 3 weeks for my left elbow to come good again. My ex wife went one better though and I had to pick it up off the garage floor. Scratch on LH engine cover is still there.

Welcome mate, you'll find plenty of good info here, plenty that’s knowledgeable, and a laugh. (Some bloody good photographers too...)
