Very Happy G'day eveyone, nice site!
I'm from country Vic, up on the Murray. Pretty new to road riding, most of mine has been offroad.
Haven't got meself a bandit YET, but hoping to before the end of the year........or sooner Smile
Will be trying for a new 09 bandit 1250 naked.
In the next week or two i will be ringing up dealerships ( just the regional ones ) to hear what they can do.....or not do
Been interested in the Bandit for a while now. Very Happy

Thanks for having me.

Solerida.

@ 2wheelsagain--seen your review on another forum...loved it mate.
Well Said.

Welcome, cheers

I have found the Bandit to be a great all-round bike. From commuting to touring, it will do it all well.

Hope you enjoy life with the Bandit.

Welcome Solerida.
Great choice of bike.
No need to buy in Melb mate. Rural dealers will cut the same deals and offer "local" support too. Keep your money local too Wink
Be prepared for a new rear tire in 5,000km on the roads you'll be riding.

Hi there, in Albany(regional WA) I bought mine(09 naked with ABS) for $10500 ride away! There was a deal on until the end of Sept so I had to be quick. They had to get one from Melbourne for me as there were none left in WA(in the warehouse at least).
Good riding

Welcome, and yes the Bandit is a great bike. Probably the best value for money, bang for you buck bike available. I commute, tour, scratch and I've even been known to do a bit of 'soft adventure touring' on it as well.

Your local dealers are obviously very different to mine.....I've known people in Wagga to save $1000 on a new bike by buying it in Brisbane and having it shipped down.
