New video camera
I bought this new video camera - by Oregon Scientific ATC9K for fishing and kayaking as it is waterproof to 20m. It comes with various mounts for mounting to the kayak. I think it would be really good on a motorcycle as it has GPS module so it can track where you have been and plot it on google earth. You can watch your map location in real time with the video playback. It also has a G force measure - accelerometer. A handlebar and or helmet mount and can record in high definition RRP $300. $80 for the GPS module. Here is a video using this device:

Re: New video camera
looks like an interesting camera. i have/had the atc2k, but was never happy with the results - it looks like they've made plenty of improvements over the years!

The new Drift Innovation HD170 records at up to 60FPS at 1080p.
Its almost worth the upgrade if you have an editor capable of handling it.
