Soft Paint
Hey Whitey i see you'r a panel beater. What's your opinion of the paint on the Bandit tank.
I have an Aprilia 5years old 60.000k and the paint looks like new
The bandit 18 mths and all scuffed up where knee's must rub and won't polish out.
Maybe Suzuki found some cheap paint like they did tyers.
Are all the colours like that or just the pink ones?
Anyone like to comment?

Re: Soft Paint
Mine is a blue one as well and paint is great.
Maybe a visit to a good paint shop to rub back a layer or two of clear without effecting the base colour. Then respray 160 layers of clear to get it like new. OR
Get a bagster tank cover and later a Bagster tankbag. These are high quality, offer protection and look very cool.

What sort of riding pants do you wear? My tank still looks good after 13 months of use although having said that its only done 5000 km. Yeah I know, I've gotta get out more!

Re: Soft Paint
Ive got the scuff marks from my leathers as well. i used at tank bra...but wasnt keen on it. i took it off everytime i washed the bike. and it left some slight scratched on the tank. Speaking of paint...it seems to get stone chips easily too
