Paint ..............

Every time I use enamel paint i have problems ,it just takes soooo long to dry .
Every time i use acrylic paint things seem to go o.k, (most of the time )

So what is the advantage of enamel paint ?

I think the only advantage that enamel has , is that it dries into a harder wearing surface Gus. Maybe the gloss is deeper as well. I'm not sure but hopefully theres a painter out there that knows.

spraying enamel seems to dry quicker than brushed / I suppose the only advantage is ( Hopefully with no runs ) a nice mirror finish without all the blocking & polishing you have to do with some other paints. The only problem is when it gets old it goes all dull & crappy . I just recently touched up my car & that used a base coat with a clear coat on top /a lot more work & a bit of a pain to do !
