SCA Wheel Chock

SCA Wheel Chock
I recently trailered a bike from Canberra to the Blue Mountains. I bought the bike but hadn't ridden in 16 years so was not confident to ride all the way home from the ACT.
Of course I don't own a bike trailer but I do have an old 6x4 box trailer. I bought the wheel chock as a bit of added security for the trip home with my new baby.
It was fantastic and well worth the $120 or so that it cost.
I bolted it to the floor of the trailer and added a few tie down points to the side wall. The wheel chock held the bike in place and upright so I could have tied it down single handed if I needed to.
The bike was very secure for the trip home. I've removed the chock from the trailer so I can use it like normal but if I need to move a bike it will only take a few minutes to convert it back to a bike trailer.
