I have a 2007 1250S ABS Bandit with 13000km that has an issue that after say 20 mins riding it looses power when you try to accelerate basically it dies if you go over 1/8 throttle. it can roll on to 120 km but no power to pass etc. I have changed about everything ie fuel pump with tea bag filter and cleaned mesh filter, throttle body/injectors (used), ECU (used), removed CAT, defeated O2 sensor & checked tank vent. No codes or F1 light come up. When it is hot you can stop and turn it off, restart and it will go OK for a little while. Any Ideas? Thanks.

13,000kms in 12 years! Must have sat around a lot. Smacks of fuel deposit problem. Guess you've also cleaned the injectors. Tank breather tube isn't blocked by a wasp nest? Or the muffler?

Ride with the fuel cap unlocked. Sounds like it’s a fuel vent issue to me.

I have had something similar . The hose FROM THE fuel tap was kinking when it got hot  . Cold the hose would hold its u shape but would turn into a v when warm  and stave the motor of fuel . Any bends in hose or is it being squashed ?
Might pay to Put what area you live .

Yes the tank was chockers with unleaded residue but cleaned it all out and replaced the fuel pump. I have ridden it with the tap open. I have replace the whole throttle body and injector assemble off a 2012 that had just been wrecked. Same problem, the new injectors could have issue I suppose but you would think that is unlikely and would do it right from the start not after you have ridden for a while. The exhaust in fine has a Yoshi can and no CAT.
I will check the main fuel vent lines again and check all the sensor I can and see where that goes.
Cheers

Did you replace the fuel pump with a new one or used ? Sound like a case of not getting enough fuel . Stab that mesh in the fuel pump with a screwdriver and put a hole though it . Ive had filters that I could blow though, but fuel would not flow through it .
