valves..............

72,000 km service & my 1250 valves are still in spec .................. I'm beginning to  wonder if they will ever need to be done.................

Mate has a 09 1250 bandit and just clicked over 210,000ks,still within spec, my 2010 has done 97,000ks and still within spec, so im thinking same as you

The local Suzuki dealer I used for mine doesn't do valve clearances because in his experience they never need doing...

At the recent 96,000kms service, I was also told mine were fine. The older mechanic, Bob, said that it would be unlikely to ever need adjusting if you principally rode it using the torque, ie not revved to redline (or even near it).

Mine doesn't get a hard life , so it sounds like I may be on a winner .

My 08 1250 has done 172,000 klm ,last valve check was at 87,000 klm mechanic said still on top size and if they haven't had any adjustment by now , forget about them.
