Gsx 1250 airbox problem

Hi all 

Does anyone know if the airbox can be removed without removing the throttle bodies or worse dropping the engine?
one of the fixing points for the air filter is broken so want to replace with a good salvage airbox. I thought about switching
to pod filters but it rains alot in Belgium and apparently this is not good with pod type filters!

It can be done with throttle bodies removed.

Thanks for your reply, airbox came out no problem once I removed the throttle bodies (pretty straightforward)
do you know if an airbox from a GSF 1250 from 2010 would fit. Looks the same in pictures on ebay.

Sure will fit.

I have a 2012 airbox with a small scratch on the LH side that I would sell to you for $50au + postage. Just the box, no lid.
