2008 bandit 1250 SDS Data
as my bike is not running right down low revs, i had bike shop use their SDS to get data from my bike but they cant tell me what the standard readings are to compare with my bike to tell me whats wrong
Its not good when u pay to have this done and they cant tell me, i have put my readings on thread and if someone knows what the readings are meant to be then that may help me to sort bike or give me an idea what area to look at. any help would be great
SDS data from my bike
1. Engine speed. - - 1116 RPM
2.Throttle position. - - 27.5"
3. Manifold absolute. - 92.4 KPA
4. Engine coolant. - - 98.0'c
5. Intake air temp. - - 46.5'c
6. Battery Voltage. - - 13.5 V
7. 02 sensor bank. - 1.o V
8. Gear position. - N
9. Manifold absolute. - 80.5 KPA
10. Desired idle RPM - 1180 RPM
11. ISC Valve position - 82 Step
12. Secondary Throttle - 15.5%
13. Cooling fan relay - off ( bike not warmed up yet )
14. Pair control sol - off
15. ignition switch si - Normal
16. Tip over sensor - Off
If anyone has the data from bike that is working right it would be helpfull. Over the bike shop and the money i have spent to sort it out

The manual says the manifold pressure should be 146kpa and above is okay, maybe you might have a manifold leak somewhere.
Tried to post pic from manual but wouldnt let me.

Is the miss just at idle or whilst riding as well? If it's at idle if suspect a fouled up isc valve. It's also worth getting the throttle bodies properly synchronised to rule that out as well.

i would like to thank all replies and helpful information that i have found on this site from everyone
the vacuum hoses were leaking which made the computer make the mixture very rich, u would think that it would run lean but thats injection and computers for you
im old school and love carbs but the 1250 with injection for low down grunt, u cant beat it
thanks all
PS, be good to hook up with other kiwi bikes, in New Plymouth, north island
