Ventura luggage

Has anyone fitted a ventura pack to their gsf1250? I'm particularly interested in whether the grab handle stays. Pictures would be great.

Sorry, rack mounts to the same points as the grab handle so, you loose the grab handle. You still want pics?

Yeah I've got a ventura rack on mine and had to lose the grab handle You can get a grab handle from ventura to fit when the rack is not fitted but I reckon looks like a bit of waterpipe on the bike. I was toying with the idea of modifying the mounts so I could keep the orig handle on

wont fall off 'cos the hoop of the rack is in the way...my missus says she prefers it with the rack on as she feels more secure.

There is a sticker on the rack that says "Not to be used as a backrest". I can see why as it would be too weak for that.

No, not a backrest, it's more psychological really.
