Starting problem 2004 1200 bandit

Hi, I have a 1200 bandit and when I ride it for about half an hour and stop for a sort time it won't start its like the battery is flat but if I wait it starts normally.when it won't start on key I can push start it easily, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem. Thanks in advance

Only ever had a problem like this when my car battery was starting to die and would get hot after use.
Back in the old days I found some batteries did not handle heat or cold as well as some others and would die sooner. 
How old is your Bandito battery?

BTW Derk, why don't you drop into the Intro section and tell us a bit about yourself!

My money is on the battery on its way out. Not producing enough amps for cranking and spark when it’s hot.
My MV is the same and will get a new battery whenever I can get the service done.
