Oh dear.......
I sold Carol;s beloved Triumph Bonneville . Ten years and 100,000kls from new (all hers ,trouble free from new )she said it was time for something lighter .
She got $4000 cash and someone got a very good bike .Trouble is ''''''''''''in less than 24 hrs i spent the 4 grand on something for myself .
I couldn't help it ,it was looking at me calling my name so i bought it . Yes its another bike ,it was $4000 and its got a FUCKING GIVI on the back .
Any guesses ?

Nice reliiable Italian engineering.
If you were closer I'd buy the Givi off you.

are you talking Givi or Ducati there Re-CycledRe-Cycled wrote:Nice reliiable Italian engineering.
If it was the newer "less boxy" Givi I'd buy it as well, my only regret is not going bigger with the Top Box

I think someone forgot to bolt it together - looks like it's together with cable ties.

The V46 is not macho enough for the VStrom boxy is what is required. Boxy with aluminium panels... even better.

Top marks Ewok , 900ss that's about all I know . I started it once then went back to another project .I have drunk a few beers looking at it though .
I bought this for $200 yes $200 . The gearbox was stuffed but the idea was to repair it . After pulling it down and with 160,000 kls on the clock it wasn't viable . (and I own 2 already ) .It went well just no 4th or fifth gear .
I grabbed all the parts I wanted and advertised the rest .$200 never looked so good .

Re: Oh dear.......
Also I bought this in a pile of bits for $1000 , needed a seat $50 and exhaust $70 and a paint job $20 (rattle cans )
It was great fun to ride but a 100kl trip was a mission . Sold it to the same guy who bought Carols Triumph .
They ask big money for these things , I tripled my money and it still was $2000 cheaper than the average . Would have liked to keep it but I live out bush , nothing is close .
Anyone notice something missing ?
