hi guys just upgraded to a 2006 bandit1200. picked her up for the princely sum of 2 grand, new fork seals and a set of conty road attack evos new brake pads and she is ready to roll. only had 15300k on her so that will go up pretty quickly. I have been riding since 1974 and hopefully will keep going for a fair while yet.....

Welcome and congratulations.
Plenty of info here if you need it and feel free to share any knowledge.
There'll be some feedback interest in the Conit's. They don't seem popular with Bandits.

Welcome Dessy.
Where do you scrub in your Conti's? There may be other members near you.
Gotta love the oil cooled Bandit.
Tell us more about yourself and your bikes past and present.

A sunny Nth QLD Welcome to you DessyBarber.

I see a fair few bandits on the street but sadly not a lot of other Nth Qlders are NSW Bandit members.

thanks for the welcome guys, what bikes have I owned over the years hmmm  when I started riding was none of that lams stuff happening so first bike was a Z1900 Jaffa kwaka since then I have owned  a heap of Honda  750's 4 Harleys { never again} couple of trumpys a moto guzzi le mans  a dunstall Norton a Suzuki 500 titan and an sv650s suzy,  now the bandit. was never a big fan of the contys but the new road attack evo's are a nice piece of kit. Had a set on the sv for 15000k and still going strong  hopefully they will  wear well on the bandit cause they stick like an ex missus to your bank account.   MY choice to wear the tyres in   yep gillies range near cairns is the spot, cheers des
