Welcome to the forum.
I remember those feelings "after the test ride". my better half says my smile was so big that we had to get it (good girl). 2weeks later I picked it up, It was 42*c. I rode about 2k's to the motel (soaked in sweat) and put it on to the trailer for the 3hour drive home with the outside temp getting up too 45 . Night and early morning riding for the first 4weeks2wheelsagain wrote:Welcome to the GSF club.
I remember those feelings
Re: Lookin forward to just getting out there!!
Hi all,
Thanks for the welcomes, yeah 800 k's in the 1st 8 days, a good average I thought, calmed down a little now (had the kids for the holidays) I feel SOOOO bad as it will have about 1100k's on her for the 1st service!!
Anyway it has given me time to look @ the "wish" list of acc' never can have enought toys bits etc.
So can anyone offer a point of view re RAD guards, mainly brands, I like the idea of one that screws into the orginal fitting!!
Anyway again thanks for the Hello's!!

I IMO RAD guards cost to much. I've got a Cox racing guard BGW Price: $99.00 . It hooks under the bottom & Bolts on using the Radiator bolts at the top.FRE31 wrote:

I like the look of the EP guard. EP & WarpSpeed Radiator Guards on eBay. (click here)

Hey Reardo,
Mate I have been doing a heap of "searching" on the net & had seen the "EP" from the UK so I have just ordered it - landing @ the front door step for $95.00, it uses the ORG fitting mounts, so will just wait & see!!
So many ideas re what ones best - airflow, strenght, fitting etc I went with my wallet @ under $100.00 landed, hard to buy any of the others??
Thanks for the info - will leave a post once it on the bike re the whole story.
