Bargain headset
Picked up a Sena smh5 FM for $33. Hopefully it's reasonable enough for me. I've had cheap sets and they are shit, so will try this out over the next week if they fit my helmet OK

Re: Bargain headset
Do you happen to live in Bunbury Reddog?
I saw one go for that exact price the other day on "Bidding Wars".
I was gonna put in a bid but it didn't say what model it was.

@Sumbloke yep that was me. I live near Collie though, so I had to show my pass port to the border patrol before I could pick it up. So far it is missing some of the 3m Velcro stuff to attach the speakers and mic to the helmet, so I have to track some down

Re: Bargain headset
Seems like a good score at that price. I'm sick of mucking around with my ear phone cord. I have a set of cheap helmet speakers that have the twirl cord. They sound like crap though.

Re: Bargain headset
Gave it a quick test on the bench this afternoon and it seems to work pretty bloody good. Now I just have to buy the accessories pack to get the velcro stick on bits for the helmet as they didn;t come with the headset.

Re: Bargain headset
I would think something more like 3M Dual-lock would be more secure, I'm not sure what part you are using it on but normal velcro can move around a bit.
