Hoping for some help with an oil leak.

There's an oil journal on the back of the engine, and there's oil leaking around the base. I replaced the O ring ("B" in the picture) but the leak persists. Either i did a crap job of replacing the O ring, or the leak is from higher up, perhaps where the flexible part joins the "Y" shaped part.

Maybe i should have the carbies off and replace the whole unit?
