Re: Tasmania holidays
I've been watching the real estate in Tassie since our visit.
It's a serious goal to retire there.
I've seen a house go for $34G in Queenstown complete with new roof. It did need the reno finishing off, but what a bargain.
As I would like to be near the surf on the north east coast, I'm yet to find my retirement home.

With the way (un)employment is here they'll be doing the deals they had in the past where they give you a house just to move you and your family over here
Re: Tasmania holidays
Sounds good in theory , however ...........and there is always a however , 50 people would mean a week would theoretically be allocated to each one ( unless it was to be only used for group gatherings ) , so given that there is probably only about 3 months of prime riding weather & we would all like a turn ,if your turn was at the start of the wintery bit at the beginning ,& we all moved forward one week each year , it would be getting on for forty years before you got the best riding weather ..............Hmmm 62 years old , plus almost 40 years ,.............I think I would be doing it on a gopher instead of the Bandit
( Tassie does " do " the tourist stuff extremely well though I must say .)
