2015 Superbikes

Arvo guys,
Just introducing myself. I met a great group of guys at the superbikes who suggested as I ride a GSX1250FA I should look at this forum for info on improvements and or problem solving. I live on the Mornington peninsula in VIC and try to get out on the bike as much as I can. Thanks to the lads on Sunday who directed me here and gave me some great advice.

I mis-spent a couple of my teenage years down Mornington way (1973-76) at the (old) Balcombe Army camp just inland from Mt Martha, not much left of it now. 

We used to hitch-hike in to Frankston every Friday night and back again on Sunday afternoon. 

Them were the days when you could hang outside the high school and not get handcuffed and taken away, most of the Year 12 girls were older than us Army Apprentices.  Couple of my mates ended up dating and eventually marrying Mornington lasses.

Anyway, hope you get heaps out of the forum, and unfortunately most of us are as mad as we sound.

Thanks for the welcome. I'd love to ride, however just finding out what I'm doing at work in the next couple of days. The weekend work this year has been epic. I'll have a look at the dates and see if I can get the leave.

Hi Hoges and welcome aboard the good ship Banditpop.  I meet you at the WSBK, sunday. This is a great site with great people. They must be , because I'm about to meet up with some of them for the third time.  Ask any question , even if you think it is trivial. The Bandits/GSXs are really good bikes to do a bit of DIY to. You will be amazed at the improvements that you will find.  Enjoy.

Welcome fellow Vic., I am in Endeavour Hills & MadMax in Carrum Downs (I think)  we will have to catch up for a joint ride soon...... (joint ride = a ride as a group, not a joint... then a ride)
