World Superbikes 2014
Many of you going to the World Superbikes?
I didn't know if it would be a nice idea to park all the Bandits at a meeting point around the track and meet everyone face to face?
Also check out everyone's Bandits.
If not, have a great time on the Island and enjoy the racing.

Would love to mate but can't due to having to be elsewhere. There's some nice trees you can park under along the entry roadside of the track, sort of over from the area between Lukey Heights and the Turn 12.

No worries, that's a good a spot as any near the pine trees that back onto the main road at the entry to the final turn.
Have a look out for a Bandit there and say hello!

Hi Truck Bandit.
I just read this post today, not sure how I missed it in Feb?
Anyway the funny thing is, I went to the supers and I parked under the trees between turn 11 & 12.
I don't recall seeing another Bandit there.
Did you go?

Hey Straff,
I did get down there and stayed the 3 days in Cowes. As i didn't get too many responses, I decided to get the bus to the track and have a few coldies out there.
You may not have seen me but I definately saw your bike as I have a soft spot for all things Bandit and keenly check out all of them that I see parked around, trying to get some ideas and inspiration of the little customised things that people do.
I had a good time and it was good to see the Suzuki win the first race of the year.
Im off to the MotoGP this year so I may see you on the road to the Island.

Re: World Superbikes 2014
I think I enjoy the atmosphere better at super bikes than Motogp.
It's very lay back the way you can ride your bikes around the outside of the circuit to check out all the great viewing points.
At the Supers just gone, a mate of mine was a sponsor of one of the wildcard Aussy supersport riders and we were able to get behind the scenes and in the garage, where he was sharing with a very unhappy Bryan Staring.
Because we had the pit crew gear on we were able to walk up and down pit straight and check out all the garages of the top riders. It was awesome being up so close to all the teams.
As far as Motogp. I think they should just give Marquez the championship trophy now and let every one have the rest of the year off

Re: World Superbikes 2014
He was riding for McWilliams team and he was pissed because he was not compeditive.
From memory he was nowhere near the top 10.
Every time I have seen or spoken to him he has always been a miserable bugger.
We met him years ago before he was well known. We were all doing a track day at Phillip Island and he was even pissed off and a misery guts then because he was 3 tenths off the time he was chasing.
He has no personality.
We need more people like Jack Miller, Colin Edwards, Troy Bayless etc!!!!
