GSF1250 WIRING QUESTION ANY ELECTRICAL GURUS!

I've got a GSF 1250 set of gauges...probably 2007/2008 model which I'm using for another 'project'. I'm trying to find some info on what the pins in the back of the gauges unit control...ie there's 16 pins for memory..does anyone know which pin controls which system/circuit for the gauges...? Yep I know that's a toughie..i'm not after an electrical layout (although that would help)..just an idea of the pin layout so I don't blow something up. I've worked on eighties BMW's which have pin numbers and what circuit each one controls in the wiring diagram..something similar would be helpful...many thanks

Knowing where you're from and your experience with Bandits/bikes might make it a bit easier to help you out.

This link will take you to where you can get a PDF copy of the 1250 manual.  On page 637 is the Aussie 1250S wiring diagram (we are the E24 models).  Unfortunately it does not give you pin numbers but at least the wire colours are mentioned.

Good luck with your project, I'm suspecting that you will need more than just the gauges, by the time you gather all the sensors and ECU, you might as well just wrap a Bandit around the dash
