Re: Wiring question
Same question as MM and same response. But I'd add that if I am dealing with more than 2 or 3, or if they are of different ratings (ie joining 10amp and 50 amp wires for example), I use 240v screw connectors (the same ones that are used for terminating 240v wires in junction boxes, etc).
Or, depending on the application, I might use those square/rectangular male/female multi-plug connector combo thingies that all auto stores sell (10pin one shown below but they come in all pin sizes)

Re: Wiring question
The question was general - every time I do it I seem to come up with a different method - none of them ideal.
The specific circumstance was - I need at least six earth returns to battery running led strip lights. Positives are coming out of a fuse block. They use bugga all current so Ewoks auto connector blocks are winning so far.

For your earths you could just go 6 to 3 to 1

Re: Wiring question
Even if you use a 6-pin connector you'll need to join the wires on the other side of the connector 6-3-1 or some other way, begging the question as to whether the connector is really worth while.

Re: Wiring question
If its just earth leads you could use a sparkies earth bar, this ones about 54mm long/ 7 twin screw holes, join everything up, then one good size wire back to the battery:
Clipsal L7P

That's the great challenge MM - get in with anything before Barry posts the right answer. If you don't you'll never overhaul Paul's post count
