Costco Fuel
Adelaide now has it's first Costco, I've been running the 91 in both cars for 3 weeks now at a saving of between 20 - 35 cents per litre each time I've filled up.
They don't do 95 but their 98 is about 10 - 15 cents a litre cheaper than 95 at the moment.
Has anyone used it?
Any issues if you have?

Re: Costco Fuel
I'd want to know who's supplying the fuel and if there is any ethanol in it first.

As far as I know they sell straight 91 and 95 E10.
Earlier outlets were supplied by Mobil but I'd imagine the supply is via a local contract at most places.

According to logicoil's web site Shell and Mobil are their suppliers.

Re: Costco Fuel
it shouldn't be a problem then, cars are both ok, I might give the bike ago tonight since Costco is less than 5 min from work and the light has been flashing for about 50km
Re: Costco Fuel
The Adelaide (Kilburn) only has 91, 98 and Diesel, no ethanol pumps2wheelsagain wrote:As far as I know they sell straight 91 and 95 E10.

Spoke to the bloke up here in the Brisbane North Costco
Fuel is Mobile out of Thailand, they have their own refinery there apparently. Some people have said the Diesel is not filtered too well but I've been running 91 in the car and 98 in the Bandit with out any problems so far
It's not an ethanol blend

Re: Costco Fuel
I'm on my 4th or 5th (?) tank now, it's running fine and I seem to be getting a extra 20-30 km before the last bar on the gauge starts flashing. Now I just have to wait until winter to see if the starting issue with the winter blend comes back.
