New member looking for advice
Well, I've added a 2007 1250 Bandit to my stable. The previous owner was trying to modify it for touring. He did many things, even found a power commander3 in the tail. So, I'm finishing the performance side. Your website has more information for what I want to do and the folks to answer questions.

Welcome along DD.
Where are you from? What other bikes are in the stable?

Re: New member looking for advice
I live near Denver, CO. I'm 63 yr old and have been riding on the street since 1971. Sorry, I'm an old guy.
I've owned my 2003 FZ1 for 9 years. I've got the Ivan jet kit and some other goodies and it is fast.
Until I got the 2012 ZX14R. I've set this Bike up for touring/sport. 3-piece Givi luggage, Corbin, 2-GenMar spacers per side, Zero Gravity touring shield, Buell lightning pegs, Delkevic Carbon mufflers.
I was looking for another Bike for when my 2 Brothers visit. I never rode a 1250 Bandit before. It was a pleasant surprise.
I did plug the popping noise to the air box, sniped the O2 wire, the previous owner added a PC3 but did not eliminate the O2 sensor. I'm doing the Delkevic headers now, read my other posts for advice, and want to do the 2nd butterflies removal next.
This Bandit already had a Holeshot muffler, Holeshot fork brace, Sargent Seat, Suzuki 3-piece luggage system, PC3, front braided brake line, lower engine case guards, COX radiator guard, PIAA horn, new Roadsmart II tires and new fork seals.
The Bandit had 9600 miles, it looked brand new.
I've added a K&N air filter and modified Air Box, Zero Gravity touring shield and Delkevic headers. I have to do the 2nd butterflies, too.
The test ride showed its warts-popping on deceleration, throttle snatch when I closed it, no power over 7000 rpms, 7+% mph error. But I found solutions for each. I hope to make the motor as enjoyable as the Ninja.
