Howdy all....
Hi, new to the forum. Picked up an 04 B12s a couple of months ago. Big torquey sled. Love it! The engineer where I work has had a 96 model for years with well over 100K on it and it still purrs like new. When I told him I was keen for another bike after many years break, he wouldn't let up about the bandits. I'm glad he kept pestering me. I thought it would be too big for a commuter around Canberra. Bull. Just perfect.
My bandit has 19K on the clock, a rack and a Delkovic can. I fixed the stock air cleaner problem and replaced both low and high beam lamps with hb4 55w super white and hb3 65w super white, so f#$%wit drivers can see me a bit better. The front end is fairly agricultural and will see a new spring kit by the end of the year, but otherwise...........
Happy as!

Welcome.
Welcome to the site ay (living in nth qld, there seems to be "ay" on everything)
just read your intentions of replacing springs on the 1200.
Have contacted a mob called YSS/Hyperpro in S.A regarding the progressive spring kits for forks. Know they do one for the 1250 and assume they have one for the 1200 as well, if you hadn't already heard of 'em.
So much available for the 1200, a tad envious of the earlier model's availability of aftermarket parts/accessories.....like GSX-R 1100 cams for instance.
Enjoy the site,
Regards,
Nathan
