Hi Bandit owners
Hi all, new to the Bandit, 20 years out of the seat, just purchased a 2008 1250S, awsome bike and great to be back on the seat again.
Today in the 38+ degrees in western Sydney I underwent a bike skills day with Skillmaster, great day and helped me so much getting to grips with the Bandit. Even in the excessive heat the bike performed great, thermo fan copped a hiding but I was surprised how much heat was generated from the engine and gearbox on the return trip home on the freeway, I think mostly due to the heat of the day.
Looking forward to riding it as much as i can and reading all the posts on this forum.

Welcome Paul
There's a lot of learned knowlege on this forum. None of which I have though
I'm not even sure in my thermo fan works.
The Bandit will frustrate and please you in about equal portions.
I'll give you two pieces of advice.
