Well the Bandits gone
I've been thinking about buying a new bike for a while now and have been looking at a few different makes and models. The bike on the top of my list after reading bike mags and rider reviews was the Triumph Tiger 1050 SE. Finally found a dealer that had a demo to test ride, enjoyed it so much I brought one.
I done some research on the value of the bandit as a trade and private sales. Went back to the dealer with a change over figure in mind and
after some negotiation got a Tiger in Black/grahpite, no Red ones left, for less than the price I had in mind.
I've since done a 180km and a 250km ride, I'm impressed with the ride comfort, no bum burn what so ever, handling and the brakes are a huge improvement.
Still running in so I haven't been hard on the throttle, but from all reports I'm sure power and torque will be ample for me.

Nice mate.
Its not until you ride others you realise what the Bandit could and should be.
Still the bandit suits most of us when you factor in the value.

I like the fact that 80% of the torque comes in on the bandit just off the starter motor, that is worth the stuff thats not so good
