Have seen this before and my response is still the same.

No kick = No attempted murder.
A toot of the horn from a tosser in a cage shouldnt have resulted in this video.
A stare or a finger and a shake of the head then GTFO was all that was required.
We can easily put distance between us and agro drivers. That would have been the smart thing to do.

And if this had been going on for a block or more before the video started the rider is more of a fool.
230kg bike V's 1600kg car. Sometimes you just gotta walk/ride away.

I agree the motorcyclist made things much worst by kicking the car. Of course we don't really know what happened before the kick.
Reading the comments suggest that the car driver got pissed at him squeezing through so tried to make it even tighter. So if that was all it was its a huge overreaction by the rider.

The interesting thing is the difference of opinions in the comments

I can imagine her defence in court going something like this.
I got a fright when this motorbike slipped past me. All the other traffic was stopped and I wasn’t expecting it. I wanted to let the rider know I thought he was too close. When he kicked my car my foot slipped off the brake and in my panic I hit the accelerator but managed to stop. Then this huge man comes at me in a threatening manner and jumps on my bonnet. I felt my life was in danger and tried to get away. He blocked my view and caused me to crash into the parked car. He then tried to gain entry to my car in a hijacking manoeuvre reaffirming my original fear for my life. Your honour I am a victim in this situation.

I reckon she would get away with that and the rider would be up for assault and all damages. The fact that the video shows him being the aggressor doesn’t help his case at all.

Was the agro worth it?

The video comments are pretty extreme in both directions.

Yep, being on the moral high ground doesn't help you when your 6 foot under.

Whatever their driving infringments are, the law of physics is still on the side of the cagers.

Yep could / should have been avoided even though some drivers invoke that type of response from motorcyclists sometimes // seen it before but in that version the car driver had been a pest earlier on . Mad

I've had to kick about 3 doors in and punched off a few mirrors since I've been riding, but never in that tight a situation. Tackled a Landcruiser once.
