NSW Bandits
Due to the amount of Suzuki Bandts going about, it is time a Bandit specific forum was created.
It is an easy way for riders to share information about the motorcycle, as well as organise rides.
Please not this site is not restricted to only bandit riders, and all makes and models are welcome to join any organised ride.
Dear Riders,
Please note the below rules are to be read in conjunction with the Forum ‘Terms of Service’, that you accepted when registering. These are posted below for ease of reference:
The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review all the messages. You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except those messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible for such discussions.
This forum uses cookies to store information on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personal information; they are only used to improve comfort while browsing. The address e-mail is only used in order to confirm the details of your registration as your password (and also to send you back your password if you forget it).
- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and criticisms, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the common laws are prohibited.
- Messages that promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited.
- If you post information which comes from another site, look first if the site in question doesn't forbid it. Show the address of the site in question in order to respect the work of their administrators!
- Please post your messages only once. Repetitions are unpleasant and useless!
- Please make an effort on grammar and spelling. SMS-style language (ex: r u sk8ing?) is not advised!
Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. The Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.
Also:
The forum, it's Administrators and Moderators as selected from time to time are neither liable to nor responsible for any members, their person, property, valuables, or their acts etc whatsoever at any riding event. Members are responsible for their own personal safety, property & valuables when attending any events, rides or functions organised by or associated with The Forum. Any decision to attend a ride or function organised by forum users is a decision made by each individual and it is each individuals responsibility to determine whether a ride is suitable for their level of riding experience. Always ride within your own ability and that of your bike.
Posts made on The Forum must not contain:
1) Graphics or language (including links to such material) depicting pornography or nudity (or material otherwise considered inappropriate by the Administration Team or its Moderators) in any area of the site, this includes signatures and avatars. Please understand that many people like to access this site from work and therefore graphics/material that would generally break most workplace and community standards/rules have a negative impact on a persons ability to use the site and reflects adversely on our good name.
2) Malicious abuse between members of a personal nature. This includes responding to an abuse post with abuse. In such cases both users’ accounts may be suspended from the site. If abuse does occur please don't respond to it with abuse as your response also breaks the rules and you will be dealt with in the same manner. Bring the breach to the attention of 'Admin' or the moderators and it will be dealt with.
Where Threats Of Violence Are Made The User Or Users May Be Permanently Banned From The Site Without Warning.
3) Content publicly questioning another user's right to be on the site. No posts should be made questioning another user's right to be on the site. If you have a problem with another user raise it with Admin or moderators via private message (PM).
4) Racist, sexist or slanderous or libelous remarks. Please appreciate that The Forum is a public document viewable by anyone, of any age. Please respect other users and potential members of the site when posting. Racist or sexist remarks will not be tolerated and will be deleted.
This also applies to the slandering of person or persons whether they are members of The Forum or not. Unfortunately, common examples are often found made against members of the Police force. Such cases will not be condoned or tolerated on this site and any cases of slander or libel found to be posted on The Forum will be deleted without reference to the author.
5) Beliefs that are offensive to the majority of others. A couple of examples of this:
- The Holocaust didn't happen
- Disrespect to 9/11 victims
6) Accusations of Criminal activity towards any person(s) or groups.
General things to consider when making a post
Remember that whenever you post something the rest of us can't hear the tone of your voice, see your facial expressions, or watch your hand and arm motions. Lots of times things get misunderstood, so think before you hit the "SUBMIT" button, send the post on its way, and make a complete tool out of yourself. If what you sent gets misconstrued, don't get all bent out of shape, just attempt to straighten the mess out. If the person on the other end is a tool, most of us will work that out quick. Also, if that means you're a tool, we'll work that out, too.
It is neither possible nor the intention of Site Moderators to read and monitor each and every topic posted to ensure these rules are being adhered to. If you have any concerns about any posts made, please feel free to either PM a moderator or ‘Admin’. Moderators have the discretion to lock topics and delete comments that prove no value to the well being of this site. Post considerately.
Whilst debate and opinions are welcome, posts and threads that lower the standards of this site will continue to be locked or deleted.
We request that all users’ take the time to consider what others may read into your post prior to posting.
Take the time to check your post for accuracy of details and spelling. It takes just a moment before hitting the Send button to first use Spell Check located at the top of most Web Browsers. Moderators may, but are not obliged to, correct any posts that require editing. If you look good, then we look good.
People often make random claims about speeds they may or may not have reached. As previously stated, this forum is a public document viewable by anyone, including enforcement agencies. Do you really want to defend a charge that you were going at 240 kmh in a 110 kmh area. Post responsibly.
Lastly, typing your message in UPPER CASE, general means you are shouting. Please avoid doing it.
These rules are intended to keep the peace and ensure every-one's enjoyment of the site.
