Had a fantastic day yesterday at Queensland Raceway learning just how hard you can fang the Bandit
Thanks to Speedohealer I could check my speeds at each sessions end
Started at around 160kph at Start Finish line , 4th gear no brakes and ended
with 191kph , could use all gears and brakes but still only needed 4th for 191
which was a LOT of Fun
no it really really was
btw the rear "was" only 1000k old now its worn in lol
Tyre pressures were set at 30psi F & R by CSS
I surprised myself ( and a fair few others ) with just how hard the Bandit bangs
I have to say I really did learn a lot , amazed it how easy it is to improve your skills with the right coaching
I've done a few different training schools ( HART , Gold Coast Council SMART ) etc and they all made a difference
but Nothing like CSS yesterday , being able to practise without worrying about other traffic , crap roads and cops makes a huge difference.
Hopefully I can go later in the yr and do level 2 , it isnt cheap but cheaper than my excess on the insurance .
I have heard people saying (not here ) that this type of training is only for track riding , WRONG 90% can be used everyday and can only help if ( as usual ) shit happens .

Looks like a good plug for the PR3.
Are you sure 191 was in 4th?
I assume the healer is recording true speed.
There is no wha my bike will pull an indicated 200+ in 4th
I have seen 185 indicated but its over the hump by then.

I sure hope the healer fixed the speedo
my bandit is far from stock = no secondaries , Power Commander , K+N + airbox mod etc
and yesterday was my first real run after changing rear sprocket from 43 up to 45 tooth.
So yep 191 indicated on speedo is about right , no idea what revs but VERY close to limiter ( wasnt really looking down at that point )
100 ind was 102 on GPS when i got fuel on Sunday .
Just checked http://www.gearingcommander.com/ and with 45 tooth @ rear and at redline should be 207.3 kph
Stock would be 216.9kph at limiter it tells me , i dont know for sure but anything over the old ton is fast enough!
It sure felt fast with that huge sandtrap at 1 coming at me
also threw my fuel econ numbers out the window , a 6.4L/100Km average blew out to 8.7L/Km but you get that !

Those mods and numbers make sense.
Sounds like a heap of fun.

Re: California Superbike School @ QR
It was indeed fun , I learned a lot as well , hopefully it all sticks
it did cost me a front tyre 2.7mm of rubber prior
measured again when i changed oil etc on wednesday at 1.4mm and past the wear bars .
Oh well I've got matching PR3's front and rear now
Also fitted holeshot fork brace , so I will see if I can feel the difference.
