Re: PGM - Aussie built 2.0L V8 superbike
The motor is 2 Yamaha R1's joined at the crank.
You could buy 2 R1's for around 50 grand.
I'm not sure if that fact has anything to do with anything at all ........ so there you go

I think that radiator would slow you down by around 100 kph.

I agree with you, Hammy.
The rad totally lets down the bike.
I understand the need for surface area / cooling coefficient, but it looks like he couldn't be arsed after all the effort to get the two donks together.
Perhaps something along the lines of Buells in frame liquids may have helped get away with a smaller rad.
He has done an awesome job in keeping the weight down so low.
Having said all of that, I'd love to take it for a spin.

Keeping your eye on the oil level looks interesting . It would be fun to take it for a spin though

While I'm sure its engineering art its an example of "just because you can doesn't mean you should".

Alan Cathcart did. The lucky bastard did a road test on it for AMCN.
Apparently it sounds like this :

I really like that 2WA.
I'm so disappointed after watching the video.
It sounds just like any other litre bike out there.
A V8!
I was expecting a lumpy cam Windsor bom bom bom bom idle and shredding rear tyre with every twist of the throttle.
It looks totally tame. I wonder if it's full of traction control gizmos?
I would be very annoyed to spend all that coin and still have to explain to people that it's a V8.
I would want car alarms going off as you ride past. Neighborhood windows shattering when you start it up in the morning. People diving for cover as you tootle down the street to the shops.

Is that caused by the fuel tanker that goes with you?

No its caused by young women ripping their knickers off and throwing themselves at me when I ride past. You don't get that on a Strom
Actually I can get 20km/lt out of it but its much more fun when I'm getting 15km/lt

If you kept enough of them you could make yourself a bike cover ( waste not , want not )

Actually that's quite good, about what I get no matter how I ride the 'Strom.
No young women, but the occasional pensioner will.
Paul: He uses his own pre Biggest Loser undies for bike covers.
