2010 gsx1250fa I WANT BETTER NOISE!!??
Hey guys and girls, just wandering if anyone can suggest what exhaust would give my bike a much needed sound improvement. Something well under $1000 would be great???????????
Thanks in advance, Mick

Depends how loud you want it.
I have a staintune exhaust on mine. Ive had a few dramas with rust stains appearing. They said its only the 4th one they have ever seen do it. So you shouldnt have a problem. I love the sound. Its the loudest ive heard on a bandit under full noise.
But there are cheaper cans out there. I think staintunes are worth about $600 or so now.

Staintune here too, no rust in mine. I love the sound without the baffle.
I think it would be louder without a cat.
A mate of mine has a Screaming Demon on a GSX750F, without the baffle it is deafening.

Loving the Two Brothers M2 slip on pipe I've just popped on my FA. Similar listed below

+1 for the Two Brothers. I have a Titanium M5 on mine. The M5 sounds to me much deeper and a bit softer than the M2.
Personal taste really. Take a look at the website. You can have custom ones made (colour choices of the alloy parts for about $80 extra).

Typing "exhaust" into the forum search box will bring up plenty of discussion - just about a book full!

I feel a parallel test in the garage. See how many alarms we can set off
We won't invite Stan though

Does anyone have good pictures of the Staintune pipe on the bike. I saw the video on Youtube, not sure if it is only the angle, but it still looks huge, especially long. I really like the sounds, but not sure about the looks yet. I really like the looks of the Yoshi R77 and Two Brothers, but don't want another bike sounding like my Vstrom with an Akrapovic on it.

That's the reason I like the 380mm Beowulf. I would have gone shorter if I could have.

Or...
$225 dollars for a tuneable Supertrapp muffler. More discs for better flow, less discs for better economy. Stainless, lightweight, small and inexpensive. Could then put more money to towards the Holeshot performance Headers at $599 plus freight.

Re: 2010 gsx1250fa I WANT BETTER NOISE!!??
There is a big difference between a good note and just loud noise. Louder does not automatically mean better for either performance or sound quality.
The main complaint leveled against motorcyclists by the public is noise. Why give them more ammunition to support police and other authorities giving us an even harder time. A loud bike will make you a better target for the police. Harley riders can be excused for fitting loud pipes as they try to cover up the rattles and clangs their bikes are renowned for.
Having said that, Dave is looking to fit a slip on to my GSX1250FA as the standard silencer is too big, too heavy and just a tad too quiet.

I have a Yoshi TRS too. Nice sound, But It wasn't loud enough for me. So I shorten it by 50mm.

I've got a Delkevic oval. $278 shipped from the states in about a week. Sounds good, raspy bark to it, but not overly loud. I think it weighed about 3kg give or take.
