Hey Guys. I recently just purchsed a suzuki gsx1250fa

I noticed theres a bit of an unhappy spot between 3000 and 4000rpm

Ive read alot online about secondary butterfly removals and tb sync and this and that and i mean thats fine by me im a motor mechanic.

But can anyone reccomend what mods i should do to the bike. And refer me to any online guides on how to do these things

My bike just has a slip on yoshi

Hey there, mstrrab.
Congrats on your new bike.
Drop a post into the introduction thread. Say hi to everyone.  Let us know a little more about yourself and your bike.
Mods are a personal thing. It depends on what you are trying to achieve.
Smooth out the flat spot, caused by fuel mapping meeting emission standards, with butterfly removal TB sync and a fuel controller. I like YellowBox, an Australian product.
More power with a set of headers and air filter.
Comfort with a seat, aftermarket or reupholster. Touring screen.  Heated hand grips.
Handling with suspension treatment.
Touring capability with luggage.
The list goes on.

Type:  "secondaries removal"  into the search box.  Radiator guard ?   You would not want to get a hole in the front of your radiator from a stone.  It happens.

We once had a ride where a new guy joined on a brand new r1. We mentioned that everyone had radiator guards except for him. He laugh and said that he had never had a problem with all the bikes he had owned. We rode through some twisties for about 50kms and pulled up at a t junction where his bike was squirting coolant all over the front wheel. Day done for him, organizing his brother to come and trailer his bike home

Like this, 1/2 of a $20.00 sheet of grill mesh from Supercheap and less than a hour to make it, original endcaps go back on to keep it neat
