Barry Sheene Festival of Speed ??

The Barry Sheene Festival of Speed is on this weekend at Eastern Creek. Tossing up maybe going & the weather forecast is actually fine for once

Just wondering if anyone went to last year's ( or previous years ) & what is was like ?

We'll both be "Barry Sheene Festival virgins" ( a problem the great man definately didn't have )

Sounds like it'll be a good day out. Apparantly there's access to the pit areas, trade displays etc. We're heading up from Newcastle along the old rd via the PITS. Probably get there around 10.30am. Will have the girl on the back. Say gidday if you spot me.

I haven't been for a few years, & it doesn't look as though I'll make it there this year either.
The ones I have been to have been pretty good - a good mix of all the older style bikes, some doing speeds that just don't seem right!
