Bluetooth Headsets - Im confused
Hey Guys.. I Just want to be able to anser calls and listen to the music on my iphone .. Ages ago i had a Scala rider but was not impressed, it kept coming off the helmet and at highway speeds could not hear anyone on the phone.. now they may have improved since then, i dont know.. but I now see lots of different ones.. dont need to have the intercom as my wife is yet to even get on the back of my bike and dont want to pay $400 either.. any ideas??
Re: Bluetooth Headsets - Im confused
Thanks 2 Wheels but I thought Id get something a bit more constructive.. I do like my music and on a long run It helps pass the time.I am sure that there are some people here that uses them. I know holdenman has one.

I have had a pair of Scala Rider Q2s and now have a pair of Scala Rider G4s. I've never had any trouble with them falling off, but then I don't use the double sided tape method. I use the supplied clamp.
As far as I'm concerned the G4s are not better then the Q2s, more of a sideways step than an big improvement. I bought the G4s for one reason only to be able to have a three-way full duplex conversion.
Not possible with the Q2s as they only have 1 intercom channel. The extra range from the G4's is irrelevant, as the range is influenced by the terrain. The FM radio is pretty shit s it drifts on and off station constantly. Plugging an MP3 player in is better. Bluetooth phone is connection is excellent on either unit. Battery life is also excellent.
Can't comment on other brands as these are the only ones I've had

Music is one thing and although I don’t listen while on the bike the last thing I want to be doing is having a phone convo hence my comment and the emoticon in case you over looked it Is a call that important? So my suggestion stands for the phone.

Call me a tight @rse but...
I have a Samsung Galaxy SII and just use the ear bud headphones that came with the phone. I can answer calls, talk and be understood. when the call is finished the music comes back on. What I have to do if I want to call someone is actually stop, although I could set up the voice dial but choose not too as I prefer to actually enjoy the ride
IMO save your money and give your phones ear headset a shot.
