Ride for Reardo 25-3-12

Hey crow eaters. I coming down to ride your awesome hills."25-3-12 Sunday" So I hope as many as you can make it, as you can. And all this rain piss's off by then.(I'm not big on getting wet. lol)

So, Who's up for it?

I am going to have a couple of hernias done ( put off till next week now, but I am hoping Ill be ok by then .)Seeing as you did Gorge road , Lobethal & all around that area last time you were here, may I suggest a trip down over Myponga resevoir , Normanville ,Delamere , Victor , Middleton & cut up to the Strath. road &turn off up Bull creek road & over through Macclesfield, to The garage @ Strath,then Paris creek rd & back through Meadows & over to Handorf or somewhere. This would give you a chance to see some more of our country side with a variety of roads.
I don`t know what everyone else thinks of this idea, & discussion is more than welcomed /wanted . If we did this run we could possibly meet @ Maccas @ Morphertt vale or somewhere ?( Unless you want to do the same roads again Reardo?)

@Reardo: Looks liek you actually enjoyed the corners down in that part of the world You'll have to trek to WA sometime mate and we'll take you for a blast around the South West

About 550km= 6hours to Adelaide SA vs 2,869km= 1 day 7 hours to Allanson WA. One day mate, one day.

Sounds like a plan paul ,I should be o.k to join in and meet you too Reardo .

May do a sneaky visit but I am on call that weekend. Depends what you plan to do and where you plan to start.

Tho I may have to take the long way round to Adelaide. The Highways are closed in most directions from here.

The starting point needs to be easy to find or if someone can pick me up on the way there. Staying at Adelaide Shores Caravan Park, on Military Road.

If you want , I`m closest to the park, so will come down & pick you up ( PM me your mobile no for when I get there ) about 9 am.on the 25th march. If the above trip I have suggested is fine with every one else( second post in this thread ), we will meet at Maccas on cnr of main south & Sherriffs road Morphett vale at 9.30. If it`s easier for Xpalan & Big Al ,we can meet you somewhere further south if you want .( Silver said he may come & lives north so maccas may be easier for him ) Let me know what you all think ( we can give Mustang Sally a ring when we`re on the way to let him know when we will be at the garage if he wants to catch up there )

Hi guys I might pic up at Aldinga by the servo, thats if your not planning to do Willunga hill and the back road into Myponga but I m just keen for a ride eh!

We could have gone Clarenden Kangarilla Willunga & then we could go back down Biscay / Aldinga rd to meet you, but I think we`ll or Just go main Sth rd , to catch up with you @ Aldinga servo cnr port & main Sth rds.It`s a fairly long days ride planned , so thinking maybe Sth Road may be better to get down there & we can always add on to the ride at the end if we have some time up our sleeves .We should be at the servo@ about 10am to 10.15 am I would imagine if that suits you .

So it sounds like the meet point for me will also be the servo on the cnr port road and south road at Aldinga , But last time I looked it was not BP .
