You blokes make me sick
I have to con Ewok to ride south and finish up at a pub. (once soaking wet the other pretty warm)
I’d travel a long way for a good scone. If ever I’m single for a week or two I’m heading north so watch out

So where are all the Victorian members? We seem to be so few and spread far and wide. I think I'll have to move to Queensland

Gus, you remember the place on the top of Mt G where we had scones that time. Maybe we go there? If I word them up that we are coming on whatever date to ENSURE they have their best scones, jam and cream ready.

It would take me 4 hours just to get to near your area

Not that I know of, just the staintune exhaust.
I wasn't even riding fast cause of my passenger.
Are you serious? Or just having a go at my slowness?

How about a plan for a run down here in my backyard the Gold Coast Hinterland and surrounds.. i used to run tours up there and know a few interesting places etc.. then we can all come back to my place ( very close to the Highway) for drinks maybe a sausage sizzle and a chat (swim too if you feel like it) just an Idea.. will be awhile tho , I agrivated my finger injury on the mt mee ride so got to keep off the bike for a bit.
We would be in +2

I will catch up with some of you Guys soon, but for now, work, and saving up for our Easter get away. Yes I know. Riding at Easter is like jumping into a pool of crocs.

Hi Chips,
I am being serious, on some of the little straights I was really pushing the bike hard to keep up. Your bike goes well.

Re: Sunday 4th March Ride to MT Mee
Ok.. might start another thread... but how does everyone feel about a Gold Coast Ride on Sat 14th April .. Im kinda busy till then.
Plan Could be: meet at Nerang then I will take you through some interesting roads near Canungra then across the back way into Tamborine.. I know a couple of good spots round there..then may be a coffee somewhere up there.. then back another route to my place in Molendinar for a late lunch sausage sizzle/BBQ ... swim if you want .. leave when you want.. if anyone wants to get a bit pissy , we have a spare room.
All forum people invited. we have plenty of time to discuss

Thats interesting. I thought it was stock but now maybe I'm wondering cause your 1250 should have no problem keeping up. i wasn't pushing it hard at all and I had 50kg of pure sexy on the back :-P (that's right, I think the wife has started reading my posts, lol)

Re: Sunday 4th March Ride to MT Mee
The only way to positively know is to check the main jet size. If your inclined you could easily remove one of the outside carbie bowls without having to remove the carbies from the bike. Then remove the main jet and check the size stamped on it. Originals are 100s. Aftermarkets could be anything from 115 up to 130. If you are going to attempt this, just be careful when removing the 4 screws that hold the bowl cover on. They are notorious for sticking. And it is easy to burr the slots.

Ok, too scared to try now.
It is in for the 48,000km major service in a couple of weeks, I'll ask them to check then...
