Front guard .
First topic message reminder :
Have you ever looked at the front guard .I mean "really looked at it ".
The front looks fantastic ,swooping lines and fins. Definately designed buy a Batman fan . Unfortuneately he only did the front half ,and due to a big
night out, the accountant thought he could finish off the remainder ,and failed .
It looks two bits joined together .
The good
THe other boring bit .
The ideal way (i think ,open to suggestions ) is to cover it with c\fibre ,but the shape and cost (to me ) has stopped that . But it would be possible
to do the front half and fade it to the back with a black paint .
Ive sprayed the back half so far .
Anyone interested enough for me to take pics of the carbon bit ,.win or disaster .

Re: Front guard .
Sorry gus but in the interest of making this board look like its members passed at least Primary School Level, I believe that our Grammar and spelling needs to improve.
Your travails in your post before last are. 1) The rear will be painted black as its fairly hidden and i carnt be bothered doing it . Should read " I can't be bothered doing it.
2) (of-cut ,$6000 a roll should read (off-cut, $6000 a roll
3) (This one was just a trail run . I'm hopeing you wont notice . Should read This one was just a trial run. I'm hoping you won't notice.
I just don't want folk to think that this board is based in Moe.

Re: Front guard .
Public humiliation has never been one of my favorite ways to deal with something I have an issue with . Perhaps a P.M. to another member may be more appropriate in some cases .
Some people are good with one thing e.g. grammar and others are particularly good at others e.g. working with their hands or problem solving a mechanical issue .
I can only suggest if someone is offended by another members post ,or the manner in which they write those posts, then don`t read them .
The other suggestion I would make is perhaps not to travel through Moe and let on who you are , just in case they also read this forum, in which case I`m sure they would be equally offended .

Re: Front guard .
Let me see if i have this right .
A poorly written post about a piece of carbon fiber, is bad .
Yet a highly offensive post ,written well ,is acceptable .
Bit rich .
Might add, my brother lived and was a headmaster in Moe .

Re: Front guard .
Did I say I was offfended? Sometimes you have to understand the meaning of humor, which i know that gus does.
Sometimes this board leaves me cold, however folk like 4 Wheels Again, gus, Hammy reinforce my belief that our wonderful pursuit of Motorbicycling is still full of disgusting, hilarious, jovial (Explanations found in the Webster Dicktionary) fellows who remind me of the times past when we understood the meaning of FUN!
Thank God we of the 3 score years under our belt still have balls to enjoy a bit of verbal jousting and whilst we are at it let us spare a thought for our wonderful member "Grumpy", a member who should never be put on the back burner, just think that one out.

My Partner, Jan, sez the only thing that I need to reinforce is..... well... thats our business it's something that I'm not going to air on a public forum! By the way Gus, that carbon fibre stuff ?

Re: Front guard .
What are you dicks going on about now
This place reminds me of when I delivered beer to the Bowls Clubs
I never parked truck close enough or to close.
I was to loud.
To slow.
Then I was rushing.
Then get in trouble for not loading the empty kegs and I hadn't finished unloading the kegs.
A Club full of Chief but no one high enough sign for the delivery.
So, who's bowl is it anyway

Re: Front guard .
I m having no problem with any of this . I worked 12 days straight ,and worked every night on the carbon stuff .Thing were getting hazy .
I did notice my grammar going to shit but was to slack (and tired ) to correct it .I will try to improve .
And you wondered why i post so many pics .
It annoys me when people use the F... word every third word, so me being slack on grammar, is better ,but not much .
Your an acquired tast arnt you IIiqu .

No rush on my CF stuff Gus. I'm off the bikes for a while.
Earn your money first as far as I'm concerned.
I tolerate any attempt at grammar but I buck at txt speak when we have a keyboard to use.
