Electrical Connectors
Suzuki use a lot of this type of connector .They are quite simple to take apart and reassemble with no damage.
This one goes to the spark plug top .The yellow part pulls straight out ,then there is a little tab that if you press up releases the wire .
Makes it easy to cover with black shrink wap .

You can buy a insulating conduit which is spiral cut allowing wires to enter / leave the loom at any point along its length. Excellent for what you are doing Gus. Jaycar sell it and it's pretty well inexpensive and comes in different diameters and it's black.

Re: Electrical Connectors
I use 7mm corrugated split conduit. Easy to work with, looks factory and protects cables from abrasion and heat. I don't run any accessory cable without it

Re: Electrical Connectors
That bracket is a headlight/fairing stay bracket for the S model Gus. They obviously have not modified the frame Gus style for the naked.
BTW sounds like you need some dielectric grease in that electrical fitting.
