Lowering Battery ..

I just had a quick look at lowering the battery as suggested by Aussie to give you more storage room .It looks too easy (it is dark ) Cut bottom out
of battery box .Cut 15mm lip off underneath it so battery will slide down .Thats it ?????
Carnt be that easy ,what am i missing ?

Gee, small battery .

Worked out a way how to lower battery for more room and remove original box .No need to cut box to its reversable . Neat and quite easy .
I think i might be the only one with a hate for bags so i wont post it up unless someone shows an interest .

Sounds good Gus but I’m not to sure I’d want something delicate bouncing around on top of the battery.
Are you putting a layer of foam or something on top?

Might make a foam thingo .

So how much lower is it after the mod?

Battery sits 65mm lower .
