Front Stand
I'm thinking about a front stand and wondering what others use. My rear stand is a Sharp Racing unit but they're bloody expensive!
Recommendations please......

Re: Front Stand
Not sure about the brand of the rear stand, but my front one is a Sharp Racing stand. Real good investment. Thought i got mine at a discount price

Nah. If you have a look, there is a hole at the steering head, under the head light. A load sits in there and lifts up.
I was a little unsure if it would work on my bike, as it has ABS. The stand come close to touching the ABS thingo under the headlight, but there is still plenty of room

Yeah I think thats the type I'd prefer but the ones Damo referred to are cheap enough to consider.
Re: Front Stand
I've got one of these Kaneg head-lifting stands and it works a treat on my ABS 1250. Just one thing though, they supply with a number of 'pins' that mount into the steering stem and none are big enough, so I use one of the smaller ones and a large washer.

Cool mate thats sounds like what I'm after.
Their fork lifting stands are online at $114. I had a quick look and didnt see any head lifters. Any idea what they're worth?

Re: Front Stand
i think I paid about $150 in Jul 2007, but i see that they are charging $199 now. You might be better to the pair for $250 and re-sell the rear,
