Highway Pegs
I searched for highway pegs on the site but couldn't find any reference so heres some info.
I was reading some other sites about how to attach some 'highway-pegs' so that on the freeway I could change my leg position from time to time. The best one I found was on www.maximum-suzuki.com that entailed making a couple of mild steel brackets and getting some cheap fold-up pegs off the internet. I fitted them last week and oh what a difference they make. I rounded mine off at the top to make them look nicer. I am merely passing on the info and full credit goes to the contributor on

Some contibutors questioned the ground clearance but if you make the brackets just long enough to fit the fold-up pegs, there isn't a clearance issue unless you corner at 30 degrees !!.
If anyone is interested I will take mine off, do a picture and load them up with the relevant hole placements etc.

For those of us who have been booted off or never registered with Max suz you'll need to register to see the above link.
Personally good boots and a break every 2 - 3hrs works for me.

I've been thinking about getting highway pegs for my 1200 for the last 8 years. But I'm yet to do anything about it.

Sorry guys, I forgot you would need to be a member to access the Max-Suzuki link
I now have some photo's etc but I have to figure out how to load them up. Doesn't seem very straightforward.
Once I fugure it out, I'll download them
Cheers

It’s easier than you think but I can’t find the video tutorial I did for the tech challenged.Halcien wrote:Sorry guys, I forgot you would need to be a member to access the Max-Suzuki link
